Piazza Gae Aulenti

Piazza Gae Aulenti is a mixed use urban development next to Porta Garibaldi station. The piazza, designed by Cesar Pelli and built in 2012, was developed as a circular square six metres above street level with a range of national and regional corporate headquarters around it, of which the Unicredit tower is among the most prominent. Retail is on the ground floor. Via Vincenzo Capelli connects Piazza Gae Aurelia to Corso Como making it part of a prominent high street retail area in Milan.
